Roger Forster opens the show, introducing the guest star for the evening's performance, the young man who has cut a sensational path through virtually every field of entertainment, stage, screen, radio, records. He is well known in every one of them - that famous singing star, Dick Haymes. But first we hear Harry Sosnik and the Savings Bond Orchestra playing their own arrangement of Liza.
