Sam Tyler comes face to face with death and is concerned that he hasn’t done one good deed since he was born. He is given a second chance to do a good deed by a dead man who is between two worlds. He is to go to Chicago and wait in the Spread Eagle Café. He will be approached by a man and must lend himself to any situation that arrives. Tyler is living on borrowed time and will die if he fails to do the good deed.
