It is 6:45pm October 26th 1939. Frank Wayland is at home when his brother Jeff arrives home after cutting his trip away short. He has learned that Frank is planning to marry and move his wife in to the home. Jeff tells his brother that if he is bringing a wife in to the home he can buy him out for $2000. Frank agrees to give him $800 the next day and the rest later as he needs some money to pay uncle Joe who has been working hard for him on the land. However an argument ensues which culminates in Jeff killing Frank with a bread knife.
