After Lum and Abner's repeated failures in attempting to collect the Jot em Down store's long overdue bills, Miss Hartford, the new General Manager, took over the job herself, and immediately began to 'bring in the money', much to the old fellows consternation! Rght now, we find Lum and Abner busy cleaning out Lum's desk.
