In an old house on a side street, all the rooms are shuttered and locked except one where an old man sits writing and almost ready to die, but not yet, he's safe. Outside in the street an organist is playing Loves Old Sweet Song. The doors of the house are heavy and bolted locked from the inside. In his room he is safe. There are three of them who want his money, they are young and they want him to die but the old man is clever and they will have to wait. But then he is murdered in his room with a poker as the organist plays on outside...
