Tom Peters and his wife has just finished helping with the building of a new community hall at the church and are on their way home in their truck but Tom is complaining about been sold the dodgy truck by Will Stanton when the car packs in just as they get to the gate of their home. As Tom gets out to open the gate to push the car in his wife Sylvia remarks on a ticking coming from the car. Suddenly the car explodes and Sylvia Peters is killed outright and her Tom Peters left unconscious.
