Mr Venning of the firm of Thorncroft & Venning has mysteriously disappeared. Venning’s secretary Mary Blake has come to Lamont and Margo for help. She has been suffering from a series of wild terrifying dreams. However when Margo goes to stay with Mary Blake she finds the body of Grim Thorncroft’s assistant who has been murdered in Mary’s apartment.
