Death Across the Table is a dramatic story of a girl, a priest and a killer based on an actual incident. Joe Hagen loses his job and has debts up to his eyeballs and because of his pride kept it from his wife Millie until he is arrested for stealing a car. Joe finds himself in prison and discovers that his wife has cheated on him. Joe's mother tells him that Millie is young and doesn't know her own mind and urges her son to forget about her but Joe determines to give her what she deserves when he is released, a bullet right through the heart.
