Tonight we tell the story of an American boy, one of thousands serving in the very newest arm of the United States fighting forces, the Seabees, officially known as the Navy's Construction Battalion (CBs), whose mottoes are "Can Do" and "We Fight For What We Build". Larry Bleeker is a young mechanic whose ambition is to expand his business into a huge transportation fleet. But the war changes that plan, and after Pearl Harbor, his best friend Chris persuades him to join the Seabees where his mechanical skills can be put into good use for his country...
