One of the wonders of the west, was the valley of the Yellowstone with its geysers and bubbling hot springs. Its rocky slopes were known to the Indians and to the early settlers. One day, young Jed Parker and his uncle were alone beside one of the bubbling geysers, but they were not friendly, and instead they were fighting! Slipping and skidding, young Jed and his taller uncle traded punches, and at any moment one of them might fall into the seething pit below!
