Eric Turnbull a wealthy retired businessman had called Johnny Dollar in on the case of the Kamashek matter. Turnbull, uncle of young Donald Cronin had taken control of a large trust fund for the boy. Turnbull was trying to prevent his nephew from taking an expedition to the tomb ok Kamashek on the excuse that he suspected a plot against the boys life engineered by Dorothy Harkness who was not only Donald’s fiancée but a beneficiary of his $100,000 life policy.
