At approximately 9:10am on the morning of June 18th 1953 in the small town of Littleburgh, Connecticut, a man walked into the office of the local savings and loan association. Ten minutes later, he walked out with fifty thousand dollars of the bank's funds. At gunpoint, he had held the three employees at bay, while he emptied the vault of all available cash. The FBI were immediately brought to the case, where they realized the robber was Frederick Austin alias Fred Allenby, a tri-state alarm was sounded, and the search for Austin began...
