When a man calls the police and tells them he is going to kill a someone at eight o'clock tonight they think it must be some crank caller. Then at eight o'clock that night a man is murdered on Broadway. There is no motive for the killing of an innocent well liked man. The killer calls again and announces he will kill again at eight pm tonight and that there is nothing they can do it about. When it comes to a third killing Richard Diamond's mind for criminal psychology solves the case.
