The Lone Ranger and his faithful friend, Tonto, had reined in their horses behind the Express office at the little crossroads town of Three Forks. They're watching the approach of a stage from the east, which they're hopeful will be occupied by a government official, who can settle an argument between Canfield and Chief White Cloud. If Canfield is permitted to steal the land from the Indians, Chief White Cloud will, quite rightly, go on the war path...
