Things are looking a little gloomy for Pine Ridge's picture house executives. Squire Skimp has hired their musician, their carpenters, and their motion picture operator for the theater he plans to open up as competition to the old fellows. With their help all gone, the old fellows have taken to finishing up the carpenter work themselves. As we look in on the little community today, we find Squire Skimp overtaking Grandpappy Spears just about in front of the store.
