This charming comedy, since its first production in the Hudson Theater in New York in 1916, has been an old friend for theatergoers for many years. It tells the tale of Marjorie Caner, the daughter of a very wealthy man. Marjorie's mother had died, and the young girl came back from France to live in her old home with her father, who she hasn't seen for fourteen years, due to her parents divorce. She's very lonely, and rather uncertain as to her welcome, when she meets writer Tony Quintard - an undiscovered genius.
