Last time, you'll remember, Chuck Ramsay took the young student pilot Frank Crane for a short ride. They flew west, and then landed beside a plane they had spied on the ground below. The pilot of this ship proved to be a government man by the name of Hilton, who placed Chuck and his friend under arrest for flying a plane without identification numbers. Our scene today opens beside plane, just after the arrest.
