On Christmas Eve 1942 Command Performance put on an hour long Christmas Special with Bob Hope as Master of Ceremonies.

The show is full of star performing entertainers including the Andrews Sisters, Harriett Hilliard and Red Skelton, Spike Jones and the City Slickers, Ginny Simms, Bing Crosby, Ethel Waters, Charles Laughton, Edgar Bergan with Charlie McCarthy, Kay Kyser, Dinah Shore, Jack Benny and Fred Allen.

Show concludes with a salute to all the serving men in the USA Army Corps with the national anthem.
