Christmas Caroling At The Gildersleeves
Broadcast: 25th December 1946
Added: Dec 25 2007
In Summerfield through the magic of radio it is still only Christmas Eve. Its citizens are scurrying about in a light snowfall like characters on a Christmas card and there’s a general air of kindliness, goodwill and anticipation of the morrow. We find Gildy looking not too unlike Santa Clause him self at the counter of Peavey’s pharmacy in conversation with the proprietor. Gildy is all for Christmas and Gildy invites Peavey and his wife to his home tomorrow afternoon to sing some Christmas carols.
