Our scene opens on a quiet evening in the garden of Angus Macgregor's home in Vancouver. There's been a queer business about a Malayan Prince in Victoria, and Angus has been reading about it in the papers. Four men have been killed, and one who has committed suicide. But this is the story of Ching Wo, who was a very enterprising China man, up in the Yukon.
