In her job as motion picture editor Maisie has to write a review on the latest film starring Chester Drake for the newspaper. While at the cinema watching him in his latest role Maisie comments to her boyfriend Eddie that he should be more romantic towards her. She decides to write a letter to her self from Chester Drake and to make sure it accidentally falls in to the hands of Eddie to make him jealous. However it falls in to the hands of the newspaper publisher and he prints it on the front page. In Maisie’s usual manner of trying to sort the situation out she only serves to dig herself in deeper!
