Pat Kellerher calls Johnny on behalf of Eastern Insurance. They want Johnny to look into the mysterious case of John Reardon. Five years ago Reardon died in a boating accident and his wife claimed against his policy, but the previous day Reardon was seen alive and kicking. Within hours Johnny's plane comes into to land in Baltimore and the investigation begins. It isn't long before some strange goings-on are uncovered.
