The liner heading across the Atlantic to New York glides smoothly through the moonlit ocean. Tom Palmer played by George Raft is out on deck whispering sweet nothings in the ear of Ruth Brogden played by June Lang. They’ve only been afloat for four days but already they know an awful lot about each other. Ruth’s father, a
wealthy diamond dealer is also on the boat and he seems to have become acquainted with Tom Palmer’s mother. We all know George Raft was never completely on the level and is this dame, really his mother? Listen on.
