Charlie McCarthy is still very busy getting in to trouble and he does it so often it’s hard to believe he isn’t a real life person but after all Edgar Bergen must take all the blame for whatever Charlie says for it was Edgar who whittled Charlie out of a piece of wood, put a top hat on his head, a monocle on his right eye and does all the talking for him. Now Charlie is in trouble for playing truant!
