Leonora was resentful of her husband since he didn’t get the job of district manager over Burt Reynolds. Leonara had to face Abby Reynolds and her gloating. So when she receives a chain letter, which said whoever breaks the chain will be met with evil, she wants to send it to Abbey but she knows that Abbey will just, tear it up as superstitious rubbish if she receives it from Leonora. So she sends it to the foreign man who works for Abbey hoping that he might send it to Abbey. But two days after receiving the letter thee man’s wife dies and he blames it all on the letter.
