A district attorney knows that murder can strike in any place in his county, at any time. This case started on a rainy afternoon on an almost deserted highway to the west of the city. A man is sitting in a stalled car, after his electrics were dampened going through a low spot further back down the road, but his face brightens as a tow truck pulls off the road beside him.
