Master of ceremonies is Cary Grant who opens the show by introducing novelty band Spike Jones and the City Slickers to perform . Next up is Miss Joan Davis who performs her comedy routine "Jim" followed by opera singer Rise Stevens. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello also make a comedy appearance.
