This is the third program of Columbia Workshop's experimental series. It is a short play considered to be one of the finest experimental dramas written for radio. There is also also, there's a short technical demonstration of how listeners in Australia hear the show before listeners on the west coast.  

For students of radio drama this perhaps the best example of how economy of words and characterizations has enabled the author to present a moving, vivid dramatic idea. Containing 23 scenes and 9 actors playing 34 different roles with a time lapse of 50 years in 15 minutes of playing time.
