In the year 1905, living in a castle in the heart of the Austrian country, Laura Stanton was a lonely young nineteen year old girl, until one night when a mysterious visitor's carriage collides nearby and a young girl named Carmilla, needs shelter to recover from her injuries. After Carmilla is taken in by Laura's family, she begins to have strange dreams, one of which is recurring, of someone draining the blood from a bite to her throat.
