After the liquor store on 5th Avenue is involved in a stick up, the robbers make a run for it. The first detectives on the scene search the area, and find a revolver in the nearby trash can - the gun used to shoot the store clerk... The only problem is - the gun belongs to none other than one of 21st Precincts own officers - Sergeant Waters.
