The Butler Murder Case opened with the death of Doctor Michael Butler. Philo Vance reasoned that he was killed by an injection of poison into his body, which proved to be correct. Vance’s suspects include Professor Powell an extortionist, Dr Butler’s widow and another Dentist Stanley James.
