Sy, the general store owner in Valley Junction, has a strange conversation with Harry, the bus driver, who asks Sy if he was out near his orchard yesterday and if he recollects who he saw out there. Sy claims he doesn't recollect, and Harry informs him that it's "very smart" to not remember who he saw out there because if he did remember, you never know what could happen. Harry leaves the store, and a very frightened Sy then calls on Boston Blackie.
