The show is opened by the Master and Mistress of Ceremonies, that wonderfully entertaining couple, George Burns and Gracie Allen, who begin this week's show by introducing the first guest, the famous musician Rafael Mendez, who plays and incredible rendition of The Flight of the Bumble Bee. The two of them then gossip about C Aubrey Smith, and try to promote a romance between him and Dame Mae Whitty.
