Buenos Noches, Pal

Buenos Noches, Pal

On the ship, the "Southern Belle" bound for South America from the port in New York, there was a simple man aboard, a man anyone of us might know - a man as American as they come. His name was Ed Barlow. At the rail, Ed and his mother wave and shout goodbye to well-wishers on land. Welcoming him aboard with a cheerful "Buenos Noches, Senor!", the man explains that it is a greeting in Spanish. Shouting back "Bonus Notches, Pal!", Ed excitedly heads downstairs to his state room to unpack... It's a saying that will make quite an impression on his fellow passengers during the long journey ahead!
