When Red Ryder and Little Beaver rode out of Devil's Hole after catching Scarbone and his gang, they were heading for the cow town of Buckhorn, on the eve of an election, which Red had heard might end in bloodshed and disaster. Joining Red Ryder and his Indian saddle pal, we find them trotting along the trail which overlooks the town of Buckhorn.
