Dave Miller and Pete Dean are in a restaurant discussing their impending bankruptcy when they spot millionaires Nancy Baird and joke about their prospects of marrying her! When Eddie Holt the columnist enters and Nancy doesn’t want to be seen with her date Gil Horton, she asks Miller to pose as her date for the night. Miller sees this as his chance to keep his creditors at bay. Bright Prospects is a comedy romance.
