Liz is jealous of her husband Max when she hears him talking with Edith at a party and then he offers to give her a lift home as it is raining. Liz warns her husband to be careful on the wet road as they are approaching a high bridge but it is too late as Max crashes the car and they become precariously positioned hanging 10 feet below the bridge with the river forty feet below them. The cars that pass over the bridge cannot see them but each one that passes makes them slip a little further in to danger.
