Archie Goodwin is the assistant of Nero Wolfe, a mountain of a man engaged in deep thought sitting in an oversized chair. Having answered the phone Archie announces, "Mr. Wolfe, we've got a case. I'm not sure if somebody's going to kill a rabbit or a rabbit is going to kill somebody but either way it's going to be murder".
