Mr Boynton has bought new furniture for his apartment and since then he has been terribly in debt. Then he sees an ad in the paper for a companion to an elderly lady Josephine Martell who is willing to pay $35 a week. She sends him $140 in advance and unfortunately he spends the money and is unable to get out of the job. It’s all perfectly innocent but things become complicated when Miss Brooks discovers that Jo Martell is actually Mr Conklin’s sister!
