Tonight's tale begins on a stormy night some weeks ago. Doctor Christian is returning from a call on old man Thomas, and takes the lonely back road over the mountain, and just as he reaches the top, his car has a little cough and splutter, and then dies. Seeing a light ahead, he makes his way forward through the storm and knocks at the door of a shack...
