It was just before the spring fall when Sergeant Preston and King moved along the frozen trail a few miles from Selkirk. When they reached a small cabin on the trail, Sergeant Preston stopped the team. He knocked on the door, which was opened by Stan,  Susie and their young son Bobby, whose birthday it is today. They've brought him a present - a pure white puppy!
