Cassidy is normally a very placid man but when no good gambler Klell turns up in Dodge with his wife Flora, Cassidy gets drunk and attacks him with a bottle for no apparent reason. The following evening Cassidy totally inebriated turns up with a gun to kill Klell but Marshall Matt Dillon intervenes. Klell says he has never set eyes on the Drunken Cassidy before last night so why does Cassidy seem to have a grudge against him?
