At Jack Barbour's house, here in San Francisco, the six little girls have heard their bedtime story, and their exhausted father has now collapsed on the Davenport. The phone rings, and he stirs out of his deep sleep, but misses the call. He falls back to sleep when Betty comes down and asks who it was who called. It turns out it was Claudia, who calls again, and after asking Betty to lie and say he isn't home, he then changes his mind and takes the call once he finds out who it is!
