Clifford Barbour is a busy man of late! His evenings have fallen into a pattern because his girl, Toots, is now a student in night school. On the evenings when Clifford picks her up after school, he leaves the house fairly late. Occasionally however, he takes her to school as well. Those nights his schedule calls for him to leave the house about 7:30pm. This is one of those nights. Clifford comes out of his room very smart in a suit, and runs up to the third floor to Paul's studio, where he finds him talking on the telephone.
