Clifford Barbour is full of purpose this morning. He is going to drive his sister, Hazel, to San Diego to see Pinky, now of the United States Navy. Fanny has prepared all sorts of things for Clifford to take to Pinky. A rhubarb pie, lemon tarts, cookies...
