Mother Barbour, coming into the master bedroom at ten o'clock on a rainswept March evening, finds her husband in robe, pajamas and slippers, dozing in a chair. She wake him to tell him about a letter she has written to Hazel about the situation between Hank, Pinky and the lovely Greta. Fanny feels that Greta may have turned to Hank on the rebound, but that Hank is such a wonderful person, he is more than qualified to provide the healing she needs.
