Jack Barbour, leaving the family home the back way, finds his sister, Hazel, trying to angle one last carton into a heavily laden station wagon. Jack offers to help, which is gratefully received by Hazel, before he is called to the telephone by Betty. It's Bimbi, his college tutor, who wants him to know that he has another gig at a country club in April. But is Betty as supportive this time?
