John Holder comes back to haunt Peter Littlewood in his dreams, to ask him why he did not give him justice why he had to die needlessly.

Peter Littlewood is assistant minister of justice in a foreign country and is convinced he could do a much better job than the minister. 71-year-old college professor John Holder is arrested for being involved in a demonstration against the government in the square but he was simply going to buy his wife some ribbons. However his 29-year-old good-looking young wife denies his claim and the assistant minister feels no reason to believe that she is not telling the truth and even despite the fact that the Minister of justice advises him to free the professor the assistant minister of justice has him executed.
