John Bishop and his wife were low on gas and stopped at a petrol station intending to hold it up. However Mrs Bishop ransacked the till before he could get any petrol in and when a fight ensued Bishop killed the petrol station owner and they fled without any petrol. Of course they didn’t get far and John decides that they should go back, call the sheriff and make out like they simply discovered the man dead at the petrol station.
