The Lone Ranger riding between tow mining towns in the Black Hills saw a square of cardboard fastened to a tree and hurried toward it with Tonto close behind. It was a reward notice offering $10,000 for the Lone Ranger placed by Drexal and his gang. Drexal knew that the Lone Ranger had many friends so he added that the real Lone Ranger was in Texas and that the Lone Ranger in this region was really a crook posing as the Lone Ranger.
